Scarlet & Black Review >>

Our cast included actors from three different African countries, and part of my responsibility was coaching the non-native English speakers in the cast on Shakespearean language to help ensure clear delivery of the text. I researched Apartheid laws and the Post-Apartheid Truth and Reconciliation Hearings to make sense of the play's action in our South African setting and interpreted this information to the cast.
