I assisted director Kate Buckley in principal rehearsals by providing input in staging and character development. I conducted understudy rehearsals, preparing actors to step into roles during a run, if necessary. I furthered discussion of the play’s themes and characters by compiling information about the psychological theories presented in the play, the real-life figures on whom the characters are based, and the documented behavior of serial killers and child molesters.
